Bronze Ganesh Thailand

Ganapathi Temples can be found across Thailand, with the most renowned being the Khlong Khuean Ganesh International Park located in the Chachoengsao province. This park boasts an impressive 39-meter-tall bronze statue of Lord Ganesha, making it the world’s tallest Ganesha statue.

Constructed in 2012, this statue is a tribute to Phra Phikanet, Ganesha’s Thai name. Lord Ganesha is a beloved deity in Thailand, revered as the remover of obstacles and the god of wisdom and success.

Khlong Khuean Ganesh International Park is not just home to the monumental statue but also houses various other Hindu temples, shrines, and a dedicated Ganesha museum. It is a popular destination for tourists, particularly bustling during the Ganesha Chaturthi festival celebrated in August or September.

Another well-known Ganapathi Temple in Thailand is Wat Saman Rattanaram, also situated in the Chachoengsao province. Here, a striking 16-meter-tall pink Ganesha statue, crafted from concrete and plaster, stands adorned with vibrant flowers and jewelry. This temple is a cherished place of worship for both locals and visitors.

Additionally, Thailand is dotted with smaller Ganapathi Temples, often located within Hindu communities. While these temples may feature simpler designs, they remain essential centers of worship for the Hindu population in Thailand.
