Narada Uvacha:

Sage Narada told

Pranamya shirasa devam Gauri vinayakam Bhaktavasam smare nityam ayuh kamartha siddhaye ||1||

The one seeking longevity, wealth, and love, Should bow their head in reverence To Lord Ganapathi, the son of Goddess Parvathi, Who is the embodiment of wisdom and grace ||1||

Prathamam vakratundam cha ekadantam dvitiyakam Tritiyam krishnapingaksham, gajavaktram chaturthakam ||2||

First, perceive him as the deity with a broken tusk, Second, envision him as the Lord with a single tusk, Third, recognize him as the one with eyes of reddish-black hue, Fourth, behold him as the divine being with an elephant-like face.||2||

Lambodaram panchamam cha shashtam Vikatameva cha Saptamam Vighnarajendraṃ, Dhoomravarnam tathaashtamam ||3||

Fifth, behold him with a broad and ample belly, Sixth, recognize him as the fierce adversary of his foes, Seventh, revere him as the remover of all obstacles, Eighth, perceive him with a complexion akin to the hue of smoke||3||

Navamam Bhalachandram cha dashamam tu Vinayakam Ekadasham ganapatim, dvadasham tu gajananam ||4||

Ninth, acknowledge him with the crescent adorning his forehead, Tenth, honor him as the supreme leader in removing obstacles, Eleventh, revere him as the commander of Lord Shiva’s celestial army, And twelfth, behold him with the majestic countenance of an elephant ||4||

Dvadashaitani namani trisandhyam yah pathen naraha Na cha vighna bhayam tasya sarvasiddhi karam prabho ||5||

Anyone who recites these twelve names, At dawn, noon, and dusk, Shall never fear defeat, And shall always attain their desired goals.||5||

Vidyarthi labhate vidyam, dhanarthi labhate dhanam Putrarthi labhate putran, mo ksharthi labhate gatim ||6||

The seeker of knowledge shall attain wisdom, The seeker of wealth shall attain abundance, The one desiring a son shall be blessed with a child, And the one seeking salvation shall attain liberation.||6||

Japed Ganapati Stotram shadbhir masaihi phalam labhet Samvatsaren Siddhim cha labhate natra sanshayah ||7||

The fruits of chanting this prayer, To Lord Ganapati, shall manifest in six months, And within a year, all desires shall be fulfilled, With no doubt remaining, this truth stands affirmed.||7||

Ashtabhyo brahmanebhyashcha likhitva yah samarpayet Tasya vidya bhavet sarva ganeshasya prasadatah ||8||

The one who shares this prayer, In writing, with eight wise beings, And presents it as an offering to Lord Ganesha, Shall be bestowed with wisdom, And blessed with virtues by the grace of Lord Ganesha.||8||
