Idol installation (pran-pratishtha) during the Madhyahna muhurat, 11:16 AM – 1:44 PM (Pune). Begin daily aarti and naivedya.
Day 2–3
Daily Puja & Modak Offering
Morning and evening aarti, 21 durva grass and modak offerings, continued devotion at home and pandal.
Day 5
Rishi Panchami
Some households observe a shorter 5-day visarjan on this day, especially in parts of Maharashtra.
Day 7
Gauri Avahan & Puja
Gauri (Parvati) is welcomed alongside Ganesha in many Maharashtrian and Konkani homes, with elaborate meals.
