BMC supports Eco friendly Lord Ganesh idol
7-July-2023 :As we know how ecofriendly Ganesh idol is good for environment. BMC (The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) is offering free space and shadu clay to idol makers on first come first basis. To implement this BMC open one windows scheme wher e all permission will get by Ganesh mandal in one place only.
The idol makers will get online forms for permission and need to pay security deposit of Rs. 1000, they will also have to submit an undertaking that they will make or stock idols made of Shadu clay only. They will be allowed to use the place during Navratri Utsav too,” a senior civic official said.
