The Panchamukhi Ganapathi temple is located in the serene Maha Lakshmi layout. This renowned temple features a unique depiction of Lord Ganapathi with five faces, allowing visitors to witness Lord Shiva, Ganapathi, Ayappa, and Parvathi all under one roof. The temple’s exquisite sculptured architecture is adorned with a 30-foot gopuram that was coated in gold by the Sri Chakra Committee in 2007. Adjacent to the temple, there is an ashram where many students pursue their education while contributing to the temple’s development.
In 1977 AD, a devoted follower of Lord Ganesha generously donated a one-acre property to the Shree Ganesha Trust for the construction of this temple. Seven years later, Lord Ganesha’s Panchamukhi Idol was consecrated with the support of Kamalamma and Shri C. L. Lakshmanaraju. On February 6, 1984, the consecration ceremony was led by Shri Shri Shri Abhinava Vidyateertha Swami of Sharath Peetha Shrungeri.
